Since picking up the sax at age 11, Paul has well over 15,000 hours dedicated to mastering the saxophone under his belt. Paul Haywood is a seasoned professional saxophonist based in Cornwall. Blending jazz, funk, house, and pop, Paul brings an unmatched level of expertise to his performances, captivating audiences with a unique style that’s adaptable to any event. From large-scale music festivals to intimate private gatherings, Paul’s music adds a special touch to every occasion.

As well as performing publicly from the age of 14, Paul has studied music throughout his life. From GCSE and A-Level music to a BMus Honours Degree in Jazz and even a Post Graduate Certificate in Music Education which led to him holding the position of Saxophone Tutor for a Jazz Degree run by Exeter University, Truro College and Plymouth College. Enabling him to pass on his skills, knowledge and love for music to other young saxophonists.

These performances have earned him recognition as one of the top live saxophone players in the region.
